Marshmallow helps you find the outing that works for your family, today.

Not another list of β€œthings to do in…” β€” Marshmallow considers ages, the weather, your budget and energy levels, so you can find adventures that fit your family without needing to do all the research yourself.

The stuff that decides a good outing

Every family's version of a good day out looks different. Marshmallow is being built around the things that can change that answer:

  • Your kids' ages β€” and the gap between them
  • What fits your budget
  • Indoors, outdoors, or a bit of both
  • The weather on the day
  • How far you're willing to travel
  • Whether the pram β€” or the toddler's patience β€” will cope

Marshmallow is a family discovery tool designed to help you narrow down real destinations and activities based on what matters today, instead of relying on another generic β€œthings to do in…” list.

What could you ask Marshmallow?

When Marshmallow launches, you'll be able to tell it what today looks like and what matters for your family. Questions might sound something like this:

β€œIt's raining, my kids are 2, 5 and 8, and nobody is in the mood for a long drive. Where could we go?”

β€œThe kids need to burn off some energy, I'd really like good coffee, and I'd rather keep the morning affordable. What would work?”

β€œI need somewhere nearby with Wi-Fi and coffee where I can get a bit of work done while my child has something fun to do. Any ideas?”

Instead of sending you another long list to work through, Marshmallow is being designed to narrow things down to a few best-fit options and explain why each one suits what you've asked for β€” so you can spend less time researching and more time getting out the door.

Starting in Cape Town & Surrounds

We're building and testing Marshmallow close to home first β€” real outings, properly researched β€” before we expand further.
